Why we offer this
Mount Rainier can be intimidating for anyone who hasn't done this sort of thing before. Many people just do better with proper instruction. We are here to help. We'll guide you from The Lodge (elevation 2,000 feet), to Paradise (5400 feet above sea level) to Camp Muir (around 10,200 feet). We'll show you the best routes for getting up and coming down.

General Itinerary
6 AM - Shuttle picks us up at The Lodge
6:45 AM - Arrive at Paradise / start streching / apply sun tan lotion
7 AM - Start our ascent
Noon - Goal is to get to Muir by noon, depending on the flow of the group
Learn some basic survival skills. Browse around Camp Muir (bunkhouses, views, etc)
1:30 to 2 PM - Start descent
5 PM - Meet back up at Paradise
6 PM - Get dropped off at The Lodge
